Due to my dissertation’s focus on the cultural phenomenon of teenage fangirls and boyband fandom, I produced a 90’s style fanzine collection titled, Obsessed Loner. Its themes include 4th wave feminist ideologies, pop masculinity, female empowerment and a self-reflective autoethnographic discovery of internalised misogyny. The collection features six issues, each one is 23x16cm and featuring photography content directed and styled by myself. I then developed this into a webpage where you can view the eZines digitally, listen to discussions on the issues via a Podcast, finalising with social media content and merch design.
